Cleaning Up Your YouTube Likes? Here’s How!
Ever wanted to tidy up your YouTube "Liked Videos" playlist? Maybe you accidentally liked a video, or your tastes have simply changed. While YouTube doesn’t currently offer a "delete all" button (a feature many of us wish for!), clearing out individual videos is a straightforward process.
This quick guide will walk you through deleting liked videos, and the steps are exactly the same whether you’re using an Android smartphone or an iPhone.
Here’s your Fast Fix to decluttering your YouTube likes:
- Open the YouTube App: Launch the YouTube application on your mobile device.
- Navigate to Your Library: Look for the "Library" icon, usually located in the bottom right corner of your screen, and tap on it.
- Find "Liked Videos": Within your Library, you’ll see various playlists. Tap on the "Liked videos" playlist to open it and view all the videos you’ve given a thumbs-up to.
- Delete an Individual Video:
- Scroll through your "Liked videos" playlist to locate the specific video you wish to remove.
- Tap on the three dots (also known as an ellipsis or more options icon) situated next to the video title.
- A menu will pop up from the bottom of your screen. Select "Remove from liked videos."
Just like that, the video will be instantly removed from your "Liked videos" playlist!
Important Note: As mentioned, YouTube unfortunately doesn’t provide a single button or option to delete all your liked videos at once. You’ll need to go through and remove them one by one using the steps above.
While it might take a little time if you have a vast collection of liked videos, the process for individual deletions is quick and easy. Hopefully, this guide helps you keep your YouTube "Liked videos" playlist organized and relevant to your current interests!
